: is a word that has been used to describe me before, I don’t mind really, I even think its slightly entertaining. But never has it been more true then tonight….ughhhh…sometimes even I don’t approve of my behavior.

it’s not intentional, but small baby jesus, I can’t for the life of me sleep right now.

Looking at some of my past posts, I look shallow. That’s not something to be ashamed about, I’ve often praised the advantages of being shallow (we all are to some degree, whether we chose to admit it or not), but I feel like my scope has been limited. I always feel a little bad about writing here; the people I follow usually write really poignant pieces and often relate everyday musings to something much more deep. 

Explaining myself is silly, but I’ll be honest about what I post. I do enjoy make-up, and fashion; they are essential parts of any society, they help illustrate the likes and preferences of a culture. With globalization, these trends have spurred changes in different places and in turn we too have been influenced by changing beauty ideals. So yes, I will repeatedly blog about what I think is pretty, sexy, and interesting.

Food is something I’m also passionate about, I don’t ever post about it though. I think it’ll make me seem so homemaker if I start sharing photos, so anytime I do make something pretty and elegant I’ll upload it for my friends, but not here. I’m just not confidant enough to do so. Which I agree is a little hypocritical of myself, since I share intimate details of my heartbreak, and my party flings. In my defense, I try to keep my anonymity; I use fake names for everyone. I don’t mind sharing photos of myself and people I know, because really how often do you recognize someone you’ve seen on the internet?

In short, I post about things impersonal and over personal, I’m not sorry if its a bore for you, but for those of you who find it slightly interesting, I’m always worried you think I’m a flake.
